I go to Japanese Language School on weekdays, typically leaving at 7:37AM and returning home around 2:50PM, after which I have 2-3 hours of homework and studying to do. Here's a peek at what my commute looks like. We've been warned that Nagoya is quite hot in the summer, and today proved that with temperatures passing 38C/100F in the afternoon!

I had the opportunity to be interviewed by a local radio station in Japanese!

This is a clip from the "FM EGAO Official YouTube Channel" by FM EGAO Radio 76.3FM @egao4026 in partnership with The Yamasa Institute, where I am studying Japanese. Here is my clip of the interview on YouTube. The original stream, "エフエムEGAO　生放送中！！！", was on June 23, 2026.

EGAO has a segment where they talk to various students from Yamasa and give them a chance to practice their Japanese.

You can turn on "Closed Captions" for English translated subtitles. Please forgive my terrible Japanese, I'm still a beginner!

Also I had a total brain fart trying to think in Japanese. ZR1? That's a Corvette! What I meant was that I want a Kawasaki Ninja H2!
